parent and toddler parking spaces

What are your views on people with no children parking in parent and toddler bays at supermarkets?I get really annoyed at people who do this, they don't seem to relise that it is for safety on getting the child in and out of the car, as we do need to open the doors wider to put them into seats as it is now the law.
I went to asda the other day and the disabled spaces are right next to them and there were loads of spaces but a woman and an elderly woman pulled up beside me in a parent and toddler bay and when my husband challenged them they just kept saying they had a disabled badge. Fair enough if there wasn't any disabled spaces but there was. I would have had my head bitten off or maybe a ticket if i had parked in a disabled space.
so what are your views or stories on this subject?

i know what you mean because they have those kind of parking spaces at the mall and on a few different occasions ive seen a car full of teenagers pull into one of those spots i think its very lazy and disrespectful
