Here is a funny dog story

It took place a couple of years ago. My boyfriend and I had just moved in into our new house and were having a housewarming party. We had so many guests coming in and out all the time that it was very difficult to keep an eye on all doors. The worse happened; after a couple of hours I realized someone forgot to close the garden gate and my dog had escaped. We looked everywhere in the neighborhood, organized a search in the woods the next day, called the animal services... we could not find her. 2 days later, my boyfriend received a phonecall from the animal services located 35km from our place, saying they could have a dog with the description we had given. Well it was our dog! Now comes the funny part of the story. Ou house was located next to a bus stop, what happened that night is probably that she was hanging around there sniffing and discovering her freedom, the bus showed up, doors opened and she got in. She traveled approximately 30km before the drivers and the passengers noticed she did not belong to anyone! the police picked her up and brought her to the local animal house which called us as soon as they heard we were looking for a dog like her.
