Say your walking down a local street in your neighbourhood and you were to meet Jesus. He approaches and allow you to ask "only one question", what would you ask him?

I would ask Him, "Why are You so good to me?"

God is good..ALL of the time. I don't know why He allows suffering, but you know, when we suffer, it brings us closer to Him. If we went thru life without any pain or suffering, then we would think that we did not need God which could not be farther from the truth. Jesus loves all of us and one day the suffering will end and we (Christians) will be with Jesus forever.

You are right. We do not need to go thru a lifetime of pain and suffering to need God. We ALWAYS need God. I feel for any parent who has lost a child. But only God can truly heal them and get them thru that. I know some people who have lost children and their faith in the Lord is stronger because they know that their child is with the Lord now. Of course, they grieve because they miss them and I'm sure they wonder why they had to die so young, but only God really has the answer to that.

What a good thing to think about. I hope lots of people reply; I look forward to hearing the responses! I would ask him how he can allow so much hatred and bigotry to happen in his name, when those are totally the opposite of what he preached.
