My two year old has regressed when my infant son was born almost three months ago. He refuses to drink from a sippie cup, won't use silverware, Steals his brother's passy's, and sits in his swing. Should i just let him work it out on his own or try to get him back to sippie cups and silverware again?

Im worried about that happening with my older son. He will be 3 when this baby is born, and im a bit worried. Hes started getting into the babys things, and even found an old bottle which he got into. Hes been messing his pants even thugh hes been potty trained for a year. We have diapers in the house again, for the baby, but he wants to use them.
I plan on telling him all the fun things he can do as a big boy, rather then what a baby cant do. A baby cant play ball, or run around, they just eat and sleep. Maybe something like that will help?
Im sure it will pass. Make him your big helper. Talk about him being a big boy. Hopefully he will snap out of it soon!

i haven't got any kid yet but i remember that i am the eldest child and was quite happy to be at the centre of parents' world. When i was three,i had a new sister and i found it hard.i was unbearable and was really jealous. I think your son just need time to accept that he has a younger brother now and mom and dad love the new one as much as they love him.I think it can help to get him to be interested in the baby.talk to him often and show him that you and the baby love him very much.
