voting wisely

i think us filipinos are wise voters from the start. but, i wont be wasting 1 hour of my time come election day. call me paranoid, but i don't know if the votes they are counting are the actual votes of the people. all i know after i vote, i go home, maybe watch the news and just wait for the results to come out. i don't know if there are wealthy, power hungry politicians using their influence to get the job. it is very possible..

I don't think the results of the elections are based on the intelligence of Filipinos in choosing our leaders. In the far flung areas, many people just copy, right, copy what the government officials give them - the barangay officials specially. And if the opposition is strong to watch their votes, the COMELEC will do their part to make GMA gang win. So what intelligence of the voters are we talking about. As long as Gloria and her cohorts are there, we cannot expect good election results.
