Upside down cake twist

For those of you that enjoy your upside down cakes, here is an idea. Instead of putting the whole thing in one baking pan. Try putting one pinapple ring on the bottom of a cup cake pan, then follow through with the sugar and cinn. and batter. Fill cupcake holder 3/4 full. You will then have a bunch of individual ones. Easy, and really pretty when put out on the platter.

I never would of thought of that in a million years. I love upside down cake but my husband could do without it. What a way to make us both happy. Ever thought of a blog for such ideas or maybe an e-book?

Not a blog or e book, as I am not sure what they are or how to do them. By the way, make these cakes and freeze each one. Then you can always have them handy when you want one.

I am not swift with puters, and would never even know how to start such a thing. Thanks for the info though, appreciate it a lot.

That's right. Blueberry, strawberry, anything. Maybe just sugar and cinnamon or honey.

Now Why had I not thought of that before???? LOL that is a wonderful idea. It would be easier to pack in my husbands lunch bucket too. I will be doing that in the future. Ya know what that may be great for some of my foods at Easter Dinner too. My head is just spinning with ideas. Thanks so much for this tip. I will be using it. :)

You come up with all these wonderful ideas for these tasty

goodies for the sweerts table. I am making this one for

Awe sugar, y'll are so sweet to say such nice things to me. I love to bake and cook. I've been doing it for a very long time. I do hope that some of these will become your favorites and y'all will enjoy them.

This is actually a good idea since it is easier to serve this way too. I am also proud and glad that my hubby can have a dessert like this at work. I work nights and most of them don't have such nice things to have and most likely not from their significant others. We live by example!! Thanks for sharing this so more of us can do this for friends and family.

Great idea even I could bake them. Then if there was a couple of little disaster sno-one would know whereas if if was a large cake I would have one of my usual big failures.

My birthday is not in Feb but I am accepting the recipe anyway. It looks like a really good cake. I love lemon. I used to make lemon pies and I could eat a whole pie by myself. Dont tell anyone though. Combine the butter and all but 1 tablespoon of the sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Beat until light and fluffy. The mixture will lighten in color until almost white.
