Would you put your parents in a home?

QWe are soon going to have to put my step dad in a home because he has alzhymers and degeneration in his feet and ankle bones and is getting to be too much for my mother to handle. But as long as she is able to live on her own, my mother will stay out of one. However, she will be happy to go to a home where 2 of my cousins work, knowing that she will be very well looked after by family. When the time comes, I may move back east and start working there as well
