How to IMAGINE INFINITY? Is it the same than to IMAGINE NOTHING?

How would you explain infinity to yourself? How would you describe it? You get to the end, and then it goes on...or what? They say space is infinite. What's beyond that then? Where is beyond then. To imagine infinity is like to imagine nothing to me. How to think of nothing. If there is a word for it, than it must exist. But then, how can nothing exist? How would you explain it?

It's very difficult for us to think about infinity. Especially if we want to explain about it with our finite thinking. And we want the concept fit in our finite conception. For me, infinity is the mystery thing that surpass time. And it can be accepted by faith.

Infinity is a hypothetical concept far beyong our current ability to perceive. The whole purpose of introducing the word is to be able to communicate the idea of no limitations or value, but it is a condition that we have never experienced. I would not compare it to the concept of NOTHING, since nothing is a finite value that we can fully understand.

You know I don't want to be rude, bu I'm familiare with the concept of definition of the words. And since this is an encyclopedic version of explanation, this cannot be your perception of the words, This is something that people wrote, and what actually took them a lot of time to define what they could not imagine, so other people don't waste anymore time while trying to figure it out. But that is not why I have posted this discussion. I've posted this so people might give a more practical perception than the definition does. And since we have got to imagine something so we can understand it, I do not agree that the word NOTHING is something we can understand. Unless we read about it and agree with the definition, which in fact explains us nothing. So in the end, if we cannot perceive infinity but are able to understand its meaning, why should the concept of perceiving nothing be any different?
