Yes, I think that Iran is a very real threat to America. They have a nuke program, for one, and are known enemies of the United States. They don't even have to go anywhere to hurt us; all they have to do is send a nuke missile to us. Which is why America needs a missile defense program, to be prepared to defend ourselves in case anyone (not just Iran) decides to try to launch a missile at us. And Iran's not the only one. This past summer, Japan launched two missiles, which were both reputed to be heading toward America. North Korea is still a threat (the Korean war still isn't over), and China is too, to some extent. Palestine is a threat because we are allied with their enemy, Israel. So, yes, Iran is a serious threat to us (as are many other powerful countries), and we definately shouldn't ignore what they're doing. That's what Bill Clinton did, and it cost us 3,000 lives. We shouldn't be like Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, and a lot of other bad presidents, who traded the safety of the American people for an image of America to the rest of the world.
