Why do we cry?

Our lacrimal glands usually secrete lacrimal fluid or tears to moisten up our eyes otherwise it would really hurt. That's why people who can't produce tears use artificial tears. Sometimes, irritants such as foreign objects also makes our eyes wet because that is a defense mechanism i think.

We cry to express our emotion of sadness. Our tears fall even if we are not crying because of the feeling of loneliness, depression, and sometimes self-pity. We shout and cry to express our anger but can't do what we want to do to attack others as it is not easy to become a criminal. Tears fall also when dirt enters our eyes and it hurts. Because of overwhelming happiness and laughter, tears also fall from our eyes. I think tears are the best medium to clean our eyes and God perfectly provided such means to clean our eyes from dirt and foreign bodies to maintain clear eyesight to see the beauty of all the wonderful creation of God.

We cry when we can no longer contain our emotions - happiness, loneliness, anger also, pain, etc. It's not bad to cry or to let tears fall - another way to clean our eyes. Crying is a good outlet to be relieved of whatever we feel overwhelmingly. Crying for men is not a sign of cowardice. Even the Lord Jesus cried.

We cry primarily because of our emotions. If we are lonely, our tears fell even if we don't like to cry. If we are angry, just the same our tears fell because we could not let out that anger that wants to burst from our hearts. If we are happy, sometimes we couldn't avoid tears falling because we are overwhelmed with happiness. Yes, God provided glands to store fluid which we call tears to cleanse our eyes. If foreign bodies enter our eyes, we do not cry but tears fall because of irritation.

hmm..we cry maybe because something make me sad.. or else.. ^^ also maybe we are very happy about we are performance..

this is very good qpost and i really would like to answer you for this....you know whan we cry sometine we cry when we are very sad we cant fight with the situatuion...we cant jandle it,nobody can help us then we cry even of we dont want we cry..and sometime we cry caz we are so happy that we cant stop our feeling and that are tears of happiness..........i cried a lot when i met my mummy after so long time..i was so happy at that time that i cant stop my self and i start crying for atleast a 1/2 an hour

we cry when we r happy or sad.when someone whom u love hert u .when u feel alone.when u want to talk and no one to listen u or no time to talk with u

It's almost like asking why we eat. There are no awnser to certain questions.It got lots of reasons. Mostly people cry for any reason where they feel happy or sad. It's hard to explain it thats all i can say.

friend i think it is an unconditional act done by us. we actually feel the situation.we are with that situation.thats why tears will automaticaly fall.
