Which theory about human origins do you believe? Why? How would you defend your position against someone who believed the opposite?

I believe in evolution. The facts are there. The answers are there. Those who believe creationism refuse to believe the facts. They try to blame Darwin for his human beings come from apes theory when he never even said that. They refuse to believe that humans were apes..australapithecus was there and they evolved into h. erectus and they evolved and those evolved and well here we are today. Creationism is merely a myth..it cannot be proven. Look at the facts for evolution..they're all there.

I was looking to this discussion in the hopes that some of the Christians would explain their belief other than it's what the bible says.
Personally I believe in evolution. I have no trouble believing that things evolve into other things but I do have a problem believing in a book of stories.
I don't believe in a God I believe in the universe and the energy it holds and we are an intricate part of this universe.
I have no problem with a person believing in God or Creationism if they are truly acting as those beliefs would dictate. From my understanding, given to me by those in my life that take the time to explain their beliefs, it is God who is to do the judging. That being said I find it extremely un-Christian for those who say they are Christians to argue and judge those who chose not to believe.
