Why men drink whenever they are together?

I never quite get it. Maybe that is the reason why me and my guy get into a fight. I don't understand why everytime men come together they always drink! As in, it never got out of their system! When they hang out, they buy lots of beer or any booze they can get, wether they are talking about problems, or just their daily life, they tend to drink! What is it with man and alcohol? Men drink when they are happy, when they are sad, when they are angry, problematic, as long as they can find some reason to drink, they drink! The thing here is, women can get together without drinking, we can talk, cry or be angry without alcohol... what is it with alcohol? Help me out here guys! I'm starting to believe that alcohol and men always go together!
