Is it compulsory to rate everyone replying to my discussion or i can rate a selected few, apart from the best response??

I rate all my responses as a matter of courtesy. It is not compulsory to do so, but it is my way of thanking people who respond to my topics. Most of the people who respond are my friends and I want to help them with their ratings as much as possible. I give everybody a plus unless I discover that somebody has cheated. That is the only time I would give a minus.

It is not compulsory to rate some one that already respond to your discussion, but to appreciate & thank them i think we have to do that.

You can choose to do whatever you want - you can rate them all or only a select few. I rate almost everyone who replies to my topics. I have stopped rating one word replies. And I rarely give a negative rating unless it's crude or clearly meant to incite - in which case I report them. Haven't had many of those, thank goodness!

Its not necessary to rate everybody, but then u can choose the best response, it will encourage people to respont to your discussions.

Heck, you can do whatever you want to. Since you are earning from the replies to your discussion, I always give a positive rating to everyone that bothers to replay -unless they are rude, etc.

Heh I think you should,at least if you have the same problem that I have. That almost no one answers my topics so im rating everyone who did respond and I chose the one who did the longest respond as the best respond. But if you dont have this problem then its up to you,if you dont mind about it or have spare time then why not?..

I rate every response I read on all discussions. I almost always give a + but will give a - if they deserve it for short, rude or off topic answers. I also report copy/pasters as they are cheating and do not deserve to be paid for others work. The stars are given at 100 posts. If lots of people give you a + then your number will be higher. If you get a lot of - then your number will be lower. I do not rely to much on them as people rate a - if they disagree and this is not right.

No, it's not compulsory, but I usually rate everyone positively that responds unless their answer is ridiculous. Even though you don't agree with someone's response, it is their opinion and I will rate it positive with the idea that it is furthering the discusssion and I get several different views on the topic.
