What makes you decide to get married? Are you satisfied with your marriage?

I decided to get married with my husband after we fell in love for more than one year. I'm a person who is over-serious with the work and life, so I was often easily troubled by burden and pressure. After recognizing him, his humor and concept of life influenced me so much that I realized I can not live without him. He made me feel how nice the life is. Up to now,we have been together for 17 years. I'm still satisfied with my decision. He always makes me feel relaxing and happy. Though we have to face many difficulties of life, I become braver than before and both of us have made good progress at work and family life. If you are ready to get married, or have been get married, do you think why you'd like to live with him/her? or are you satisfied with your marriage?

When my husband started to court me before, we already knew that if I said yes, it would lead to marriage. I guess it was a given. At the time, both of us wanted to settle down and have a family. It was just a matter of waiting for the right person to come along.
We got married recently, but I'm a bit sad because he had to leave to work abroad. If I had a choice, I would like to spend the whole day with him.

My husband and i decided to get married because we thought it is time to make a life together. To share the joys of having someone by your side for the rest of our lives. We wanted to be with each other together and we thought it would be really nice to wake up next to him/her all the time as well.
I am quite satisfied with my marriage. happy bacause my husband is an incredibly great guy. :)

Wanting to spend the rest of my life with the man I love is what made me want to get married. Plus wanting to have a family with him and share his last name helped as well. I guess when you love someone so deeply, marriage is your next step :)

I am married for two years now as today is my wedding anniversary. After marriage I have really felt that my life is changed alot in positive ways as my wife is so sweet, loving and caring. I sure am very very much satisfied with my marriage and my life partner.

I got married when I was 23 yrs. old coz i was pregnant at that time. At first, i hesitated to get married bec. of some other plans. But my boyfriend who is now my husband told me that we had to and encourage me that we will be a happy family although he's a graduating student. He said that he will sacrifice bec. we have already a baby.He was studying at the same time working...Being a teacher, I was ashame bec. my husband is still studying & working...But bec. of our love & sacrifices...God help us in our daily needs.Now we have 2 kids one boy & one girl..I have no regrets of getting married.
