Want you to be careful while submitting your paypal information on any site telling its from paypal.I got a third party mail saying that its a survey from paypal.I mailed paypal and recieved the mail from them.Below is the mail what they wrote to me.
PayPal frequently issues surveys in attempt to find more ways to improve
our service and accommodate your needs.
At times, you may receive these types of surveys through one of our
third party vendors, Decipher or Benchmark Portal. These will arrive as
a link sent to you through email.
To get to the survey page, simply click on the link, or paste the link
into your browser's web address box.
Please keep in mind that a medium like email allows anyone to send a
message to you. Before entering information into the survey you received
via email, you should verify the source of the email.
To make sure that the email survey you received was from PayPal, follow
these tips:
1. You will NOT need to enter your password at any point during the
survey.
2. The survey you received will never ask you for any personal
information.
3. All surveys will address you by first and last name.
We appreciate your input, and we thank you for using PayPal!

I think I read somewhere in Paypal site that they will never send you an email with paypal website link in the content. But, there is nothing wrong with double-checking the link destination.

You are smart to check with Pay Pal first, thanks for sharing these guidelines with us. I have had both genuine and fake e-mails that said they were from PayPal, but I have never been ripped off yet, because I do check them. Thanks for posting.

So it is best to be safe than sorry and now you also know that Paypal is the place to go when you have questions about Paypal. They are indeed a good site and will take your information and security issues seriously. Hope you always are safe through Paypal.

The most important thing to do is ALWAYS check where the link is going. If the link has a numeric address or is otherwise encoded (eg %xx in the address) it is probably fraudulent. Another good source of information is the e-mail's headers .... the routing information can be very useful.
