I see this job, as a means to pay bills right now. I feel bad though because I have a medical assistant diploma thats being wasted. Also I wonder if it sounds weird for my bf to have to tell ppl when they ask, that I'm in fast food.when my bf returns from Iraq he's going to offically propose but how might that make him feel, him being in the military while his finacee is in fast food till she graduates?

My brother in law worked at burger king for 3 years while he was in college, his last year he got a job as a mental hospital helper for experience in his degree field. he liked it, he would try different jobs for more pay, but still kept going back to burger king cause he liked it and was comfortable! I say go for it, it's not like you're making a career out of it!

I used to work in a fastfood during my college days to help my parents and to finance my daily needs. Working in a fastfood gave me very positive experiences since I get to have free meals for every 3 hours of work and I was also able to develop my skills in handling different people. Working in a fastfood would also enable you to choose your schedule and be more flexible in terms of working hours. So go for it...and more power!

I don't think there is anything wrong with it! A job is a job...don't worry about what others might think fo you! You are getting an education and taking care of your life! I worked at McDona;d's in high school and it was the funnest job I ever had!!
