this discussion is about online shopping. what do you mean by online shopping? is online shopping good or it can be bad at times. how many people shop online and whats the benefit in shopping online and what are the causes behind it.
According to me online shopping is the process consumers go through to purchase product and services over the internet.
The advantages of online shopping are:
1) convienient,
2) infinite variety of products,
3) able to compare product price and feature,
4) comfort level,
5) 24 hours a day and
6) lower price and discounts.
The disadvantages of online shopping are:
1) enjoyment of retail shopping lost,
2) privacy and security issues,
3) access to the internet and computer necessary and
4) product categoryrisk.

Online shopping is just what it seems, its shopping online, buying some sort of item from the comfort of your home and have it delivered to your door. the biggest benefit is not having to leave your house, if you consider that a benefit. From your post, it looks like you have all the answers to the what's and why's of online shopping. Personally, i kinda like people and going to the store and mall isnt beneath me. Socialization is important to me, just mingling in with people is important. I'm not a fan of flaunting credit card data over the internet.
