proof of god

No one will ever disprove the existence of an omipotent invisible god. It's impossible. With zero hard evidence either for or against it, an absolute conclusion cannot be reached. Unless the god takes some kind of action to show their existence, this is the way it will remain forever. I do not believe that their is any god Judeo-Christian-Islamic or otherwise. This is because I don't believe in things devoid of any reason for doing so. However, there's no way I can say that I believe that there is NO god. It's as irrational to assert that there isn't one as it is that there is. But untill I have evidence indicating a god is real, for all intents and purposes in my mind they are not.

Someone told me this story once about an astronaut who was having trouble believing in God having a conversation with a brain surgeon about the existance of God. The astronaut argued that he had been in space hundreds of times and never saw God, to which the brain surgeon stated that he had performed hundreds of brain surgeries and never saw a single thought.
