the ark of noah

Just as the majority of the world perished by drowning in the days of Noah, so many will perish when Jesus Christ arrives in glory. We can only surmise the disaster that happened because so many godly men before the flood married ungodly women because of their looks and let their wives control their lives and so many godly girls married ungodly men and thought they could change their husbands, but could not. If this had not happened, the effects of sin in children who are born mentally or physically disabled would have happened later and fewer parents would have been grieved that their son or daughter had to have numerous operations to survive. There were physical and mental consequences as well as spiritual for those people who married non-believers. Now there is only heart break at seeing your spouse not turn to God plus the danger of him or her turning your heart away from God. My husband turned from going to church and trusting Jesus as his only savior after we married, because if he had turned from God before, I would not have married him.

The ark in the days of Noah stands for the body of Christ where men-in-Christ will be saved during the judgment day. Noah and all those in the ark were saved by water; in the same way, the men-in-Christ were saved by water in their baptism into Christ. Noah and his family are righteous before God; the men-in-Christ are children of God and righteous before God. Many people perished during the great flood; many people will be thrown in to hell during the judgment day. The righteous will go to heaven to live with God forever; the unrighteous will receive the everlasting punishment in the lake of fire or hell.

Noah really did build an ark. It saved his family because of his and his family's faith in God's word when God said he was going to make it flood. I also believe that it is a symble of Jesus Christ. Because if we believe and confess Jesus He will save us as did the ark save Noah's family when he listened to god.
