Hai,
My nephew is 13 year old. She is slow in every thing like bathing, eating food, walking etc. She is weak in her studies also. My sis keeps complaining about this always. I feel she lacks concentration. Whenever we try to advice her whether in good or harsh manner, she just ignores us or back answers. She will never listen to her parents and always does the opposite of what they say. I feel very sorry for her as she always will be getting balstings from her parents for every other thing she does. I think she even has the inferiority complex of her dark skin and normal looks. How to cope with her? how to make her to listen to her parents? how to make her to study well? Please advice.

she's acting like most teenagers (just to help you out a little, in english, a female is a niece....nephew is masculine, for a boy) the fact that she's backtalking alone lets you know she's listening. she may not like it, but she's hearing what's being said.
