If Richard Gomez and Cesar Montano becomes senator..
If Manny Pacquiao becomes Congressman of General Santos City..
If Lito Lapid wins Mayor of Makati City..(City of Country's Finance and business)
If Chavit Singson becomes Senator (The illegal Gambling Chavit)
If all this famous people win this coming senatorial Election, is there still hope for the Philippines? what do you think?

we are flexible and we can survive them. in any case, they're just there to steal the limelight back on their theater stage. They will not be there to do anything, but we are all doing something for ourselves. Let them make a big fool of themselves. At least we'll have some diversions other than directed and edited shows. I just wish that media will be more enthusiastic about what gomez, montano, lapid and singson will be doing. I'm sure it will make a bigger splash than PBB if given enough attention.

You know what my initial reaction when I read your post?
"Why? Are these actors not getting enough from showbiz anymore that they now want to steal people's money? I bet you there's a great wealth in the Philippine treasury and for one to get a share to enter politics, oopss!
Can you tell me how many politicians have got clean hands? All those innocent, please raise your both hands.

We should not lose hope. There should always be hope in our hearts. Cory Aquino even became the President of the Republic of the Philippines, with no relevant exposure at all because she did not like to meddle with the public when her husband was in politics and we survived! How much more with these lower positions even filled with ewan. But Filipinos really should learn and not just vote for those who are popular or those who have the means... especially to cheat.

I have respect to these actors, because I've grown up watching some of their movies.. But I don't think they should be joining in politics, they are only ruining their reputation. I think that they are just being used, a political strategy that most veteran politicians would do to those radicals and idealist people.
Pacquiao, I think, is just a puppet. A credible nuissance candidate as I might say. He's just for the benefit of a competition..
Forget about about Lito Lapid, he's reputations' already ruined!LoL And I know for sure, he cannot win Makati against Binay. He's not credible enough , he doesn't stand a chance against a guy whom people of Makati respects and loved the most.
I don't know about Chavit, I guess I'll give him a fairly 50/50 chance on votes. But I don't also consider him as credible enough to be on the senate. For me, he haven't prove anything yet for us to believe in him.

well if the US has its hollywood and India their own version (bollywood)then we might as well have our own pinoywood! what with all those actors and actresses in senate and congress. and make their own circus of clowns in the senate as well as congress. as for chavit, we can be at par with the filthy rich and famous of the US, Europe and middle east tycoons once he is elected to office. YES THERE IS STILL HOPE for our country, just close your eyes to the open realities of politics, bear and grin it and most of all, dont forget to pray hard...
