They should persue only if the person stops. If he runs, let him go and catch him another day. I will not just save the person being chased, but the police, and the public.

It is pretty risky, a high Speed chase. My son was killed in a high speed chase. It was a for a traffic stop, and he end up getting killed behind this. I thought about that, It made me think about my son. this happen 7 yrs, ago. he would of been 32. so it is a pretty dangerous thing. I see no reason to chase, because peoples lives are at stake. alot of times the chase doesn't be that serious. But that the way it happens.

I think that they are very dangerous. But, the person running is speeding anyway, and when the police chase them, at least they have the sireen on, so that will help.

Whatever it takes is what we should be able to do to stop the bad guys and ladies. There can be no tolerance for bad behavior. I much prefer that the bad guy pays for the crime. Sometimes innocent people could be injured or property damaged. The point is that too much goes on that should be stopped.

Here in Minnesota we don't have a lot of high speed chases. The few I've heard about recently someone was called wether it be the suspect or innocent victims is sad. The Polica here have a rule that if it endangers their lives or innocent peoples lives to cut the chase off. But sometimes it goes on. I'm not for it in any form as with technology now days I'm sure after a chase of 2 minutes they probably know who they are dealing with. Anyhow in a nutshell I'm totally against the high speed chases. Thanks for this topic.
