Imagine yourself sitting in a movie hall watching a horror flick - all alone...Can you think of enjoying all the nail-biting scenes?

In all honesty I don't get scared all to often these days by horror films. When I was younger I used to get freaked out while watching horror films alone.. But for me... These days though I find I can sit there watching a horror film & not even cringe at the scenes most people would find creepy. If anything I find that the scenes most people would find to be creepy, make me laugh.. I don't find they make horror films as good as they used to in the 80's. I find all to many movies to be remakes these days. And I wish more people would come up with more original ideas when it comes to this genre. At least then maybe I may cringe having to watch these nail biting scenes 'alone.' I find the real objective behind horror movies is to make a person feel something unpleasant. But for me these days I don't find a lot of horror movies have that effect on me. If anything I love watching horror movies by myself. I find them to be so much more exciting then sometimes sitting there with someone else. Especially when other people who are watching the movie with me.. End up getting to scared to the point that I end up missing what is said which ruins the whole movie for me sometimes.. I guess for me the reason I can handle those 'nail biting scenes' in horror movies.. Is because I have high expectations when it comes to this genre. When I see a horror film I expect it to be disturbing, & to leave me a little scared for the rest of the night. I don't find the ones they are putting out have this effect on me as they used to when I was younger. I guess in all honesty when it comes to horror movies all of us out there all are different when it comes to what scares us.. I find that horror movies are put out there to tap in to ones fears that we all may experience each & every day. Just for me personally I find I am able to sit alone while watching these nail biting scenes without becoming all to scared.. In conclusion.. I find I can sit & enjoy a horror movie by myself.. Even during those nail biting scenes I find I can sit there & not be scared all to easily.. I love watching horror movies on my own personally.. I just wish that the movies they put out there we're a little bit scarier then they have been.. I'm still awaiting a horror movie I can watch where they have a nail biting scene.. That I have a difficult time sitting through alone! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

I like watching horror movies. But surely, i will not probably watch it alone. Because i'm a kind of person that makes lots of imaginations before, during and after watching horror movies. I imagine all of the scary scenes in the movie, that what if i'm the one who is being bitten by the dracula..lol I will not surely enjoy watching horror movies if i'm alone, coz i always make eyes close. And i'm screaming out loud, i cant help it. Maybe that's the way how can i overcome my fears..

I have seen many horror movies alone using DVD at my home. It does not matter for me more. As we know it is just movy and very far from reality, we should not think more about this. When we start engaging ourself with such movies then only problem arises. We start fearing, crying in the hall itself. I enjoy all the nail bite scenes. No matter for me, scene may be anyone.
