Hi there.
I work for the industry of avation, and at the same time, I love travelling too. In fact, I love taking planes, no matter how long I have to wait to check in or board. I forget everything when I feel airborne.
However, I know many people who is really scared of planes. I have thought about it, and I don't get to know if it's due to speed, or due to this feeling of being too high... one person told me once that he was scared because we, as human, were not designed to have the chance of flying, and we have broken nature rules with this.
What do you think? Is flying planes safe? If sacred of flying, do you have a reason why?

im not scared of flying, i disagree with what this person has told you, if that the case im sure people have built many things in the world that has 'broken nature'. most people are probably scared of flying in planes because they have no control over what is happening and if something goes wrong there is nothing they can do, all they can do it wait and hope that everything turns out ok, also since planes are traveling and such a high speed if something goes wrong and it does happen to crash there are usually few if any survivers, i would try not to worry about the safety of planes, if they were really that bad we would not be aloud to board them, every now and then you hear of a plane crash somewhere in the world that kills several hundred people, but of all the planes that take off and land how many actually have an accident? not very many at all

That's a goosd one too.... so, you think people is scared because of not having under their own control what's going on... this might have to do with how much confidence we have in people around us, how much we trust proffesional we usually depend on, such as taxi drivers, doctors, or pilots. Thanks for your answer!

I'm scared to fly. I don't like the feeling when taking off and trying to break the gravitational pull. Then just being up above the clouds and I'm getting tingling feeling just talking about being that high up.
I'm glad you enjoy flying. I like taking the car on trips, then if we want to stop somewhere or leave earlier, we can without worring about making flight changes.

That's interesting... I understand from your response speed does not have to do with it for you, it's more the feeling of being that high. let's see if that's shared by more poeple. Thanks for your response.

I fly 3/4 times per month to meet my parents who live in another city and I consider planes the most secur means of trasporting.I've never scared to fly,but my father becomes white in face and very rigid when he goes on a plane.MY mother go to have holidays by plane while my father has the some travell by car because he's so scared.
