e-gold is an e currency online account backed up by gold bullion. You get paid in bucks but they have a gold reserve like an internet metal currency..You have to link your egold with an egold exchange or get an e currency debit card to convert your e money to real money..i.e i use the london gold exchange and they for 1% charge me to get it transferred into my bank account via bacs..this takes 3 to 5 working days for me.

E-gold has low fee when you receive the money, and its free to send money.
The payee pay the fee, at about 1% with maximum 0.01 gram of gold.
So if sb sents you $20, you receive about $19.8. If he sends you $1000, you ll receive about $998.
