Wellbutrin XL - does it work for you?

My doctor has just recently changed my meds and put me on Wellbutrin XL - 150mg a day. It didn't seem to be working after about a month and a half so he increased it to 300mg a day. I'm wondering if it is going to work. Do you take Wellbutrin XL? If so, how many mg's a day and is it working for you?
