I like to play chess. As i win frequently with my sister. It's lot of fun. It requires intelligence, presence of mind and skill. what about you?

Give it a try. Once you learn to master the moves you will enjoy it. It is good mental workout.

Oh yeah! I love to play chess even when I was a kid. I first learned this mind game when I was in Grade 1. My father just got the patience to teach his 3 daughters. And he taught us well. I still remember, when I was in my primary years, my school sent me to a chess competition. They chose me probably because I'm the only girl in that section who knows how to play chess. All schools in our town joined the competition and I won 3rd place! I guess I have to give the credits to my ever-kind and ever-patient father. Anyhow, nowadays, I can't find enough time to play chess due to the hecticness and busy-ness of everyday life. Maybe it's just that I'm working now unlike before that I have all the time to myself when I was just studying. Hope that I could find some time to play chess again. I miss playing the game! :) Cheers!

I have not played chess with anyone in years...and would have to restudy all the different directions each piece moves.. I remember the rook goes straight and the bishop diagonal..and the little pawn can only go one square at a time.. For me chess is very slow...it seems to take too much brain power for me;)+_

Sadly, I haven't played a game of chess for years, my housemate doesn't play and he is adamant he doesn't want to learn. I used to run my own chess group at school! It was very popular too, we had regular chess tournaments. It is a great game of skill, intelligence and strategy. I used to have a gaming computer where I could play chess against the computer but it wasn't the same as playing with a real human.

I have never learned how to play chess. I just don't have the patience to sit there and play it I guess.

I used to play it a lot as a kid and recently started playing it with my son, but because I kept winning, he has stopped playing with me for a while so I lost my chess buddy lol. But yes it really stimulates the brain and any gaim where strategy is required is a game I favour over many others. I find it very good for the adrenalin lol.

I used to play with my friends before. I don't have the chance to play with anyone right now. I had recently purchased a kiddie chess game for my girls. Admittedly, they played better than me.

Yes I do, though I seldom play it anymore. I remember long ago when I was still in school. I was so crazy about chess that I hooked up with a friend over phone and tried to play like that (before the days of the internet).
