Do you let people 'take a bite?'

Or take a drink from your cup? I might let one of my kids do it, if they are desperate, but not if it is at all avoidable. What about you?

Yeah, I would let family take a bit out of my food or take a sip out of my drink, but not anyone else because it's unhygienic and heck, they can just get their own! :D

Ack! Your family must be more hygenic then mine. I have seen too many boogers picked and eaten by my son to let him anywhere near anything I might have!

let me put it this way, I try very hard not to. I have had about 5 differant kinds of viruses this winter mostly from kissing sick grand babies. But I have grown children that will eat off my plate eat from my sandwhich and drink from my glass uninvited! But I have never had an adult friend even ask, most of us know how rude a gesture such as that would be.

I think in order for me to let someone do this it would have to be omeone I know really well. I've let my friends have a drink of my soda or water a lot of times when I'm at work and I've done the same thing if I'm eating something really tasty and they want to try a bite. I let my daughter and hubby do that too unless any of tho people would have a cold or the flu I don't think it's really a big deal. If it was somebody wasn't close to that asked for a drink or a bite I wouln't let them have it.

Nope. It's gross. I ewould rather let my cat drink out of my cup then somepeople I know. I've always heard human mouths are dirtier then dogs. I wonder if that's true?

I share freely with my daughter, but others, no. I will give friends a bite or drink of something, but will not let them drink from my can or glass. I will break a piece of food off, but not let them bite it off. I could not deal wth sharing their slobbers!

I'm happy to let my partner do it, he does it all the time! I wouldn't let anyone else do it, maybe if i had a can of pop or a bottle of water while out and about with other members of my family or friends i'd let them take a sig if they were really thirsty. I'd rather they just got their own drink though!
