would you cheat if you had the opportunity?

the above is a simple question,i know,but one i had a very difficult time answering recently.my early schooling ,my first grades to fourth were with a monster of a principal called "zacharia".this person used to make all the students stand in a line,hold out thier hands and then he used to cane us really hard while at the same time telling us not to cheat,not to steal and so forth. i do not know whether it is the zacharia effect or not but recently i came across this online offer.before that i would like to add that i too am human and am not perfect. anyway this online offer pretty much told you that you can cheat and use proxy servers to complete offers.[of course i had to know what proxy servers are and how one uses them,my curiousity,it is a separate discussion that i had posted]. well i know that as humans we all lie everyday and that lying is a part of our social fabric.i'll accept that.but when i saw this offer i realised that i could sign up from different systems with different ip addresses and cheat the system and earn money.but something in me rebelled at the very idea of earning money this way. like i said earlier i am not "holier than thou",i do lie like everyone but for some reason or the other i find it very difficult to cheat and earn money at that.weird,isnt it? as humans i would have thought that it should be fairly easy to cheat but i certainly did not count on my moral conscience.anyway end of this story is that i did not cheat,because,i did not want to.well the "zacharia effect" certainly seems to have worked on me at least partly. have any of you had a similar experience and any advice for me?please do share,thank you in advance and have a nice day! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheating http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/feeling/school/cheating.html
