How is the life of a soldier's wife?

Perticularly when her husband is actually facing the battle on the front? Can they sleep? eat? bahave normal with others? How is that life? I think it must be very much painful as well as burdonsome. does anybody from mylot has any experience or idea about this life?

My aunty faced this trouble in her life a lot. Whenever my uncle was on the front she used to come to our house and used to cry and my mom always asked her to pray the god and belive in him.
