How often do you check your messages?

I do not need to check them - because if I have messages, it will show up on top! :P Provided I am logged in of course. *wink*

I've only been a member for a few days now. I've checked my messages several times but there's never anything in it. I'm still getting to know my way around MyLot.

I check messages every time it says I have a new one. I haven't been so active recently and there haven't been many messages. I always like to hear from friends, though.

I check them along with everything else at the top of the page when I open MyLot in a morning, or whenever I sign in lol. I usually have just one or two friends requests. It irritates me too because right now I'm waiting on a message from Mylot about my paypal email account and why I can't change the address in the payment information in MyLot. I've been opening mylot hopefully in a morning, only to have my shoulders slum with disappointment when I don't see an answer waiting for me. I even open the messages page to see if I somehow missed a message, but nope. Nothing. *Sighs*

Generally,I answer to them as soon as I see a number next to my messages link,even if I am too busy answering any discussion.Yes, I like it,too, that I can share something with my friend that I shouldn't post in a discussion coz it won't have any relevance to the post content.I also use it ,at times, to welcome someone new who adds me up ,or thank someone who has added me with whom I didn't interact much through the discussions.I think it's a cool feature to have.

I check mine everytime the page reloads. as if i get too many messages! lol! No, i just like to check if i have new friend requests or messages. That way i can reply or accept as soon as possible ^^

Whenever I see a number next to the messages at the top of the screen, I check it. It is nice to get a message every now and again.

I watch the link at the top regularly. I have private messaged folks so I am expecting return replies. I have also alerted myLot about a few cheaters I am following, so I am hoping to hear from them as well!

Any time I get a message I get notified in my email that I got a private message from one of my friends. I always check them out. I will res[pond but I am not sure they see my response unless they come back to look for it. Do you know how this works?

I try to keep an eye on my messages and other notices. Sometimes I don't get around to looking at them if I am busy and just get on to see if there is anything I really need to take care of. for the most part though I do look at them often.

I never failed to check on all my messages. Sometimes, it will took me hours just to be able to finish reading. I got 2 email adds and it was getting harder and harder for me to manage all the messages. The messages multipplied since I joined mylot. I try to catch up on all my friend's discussions as much as possible. But tammy, its tiring.

I check my messages very frequently. Mornign and evending. I have reply many of them promptly. Otherwise it coudl create problems to my reputation.

I think I have looked at that bar twice, have never received any private messages yet, that is not unusual for me though. LOL.

hi. I check my messages some time a day. I check responds to my topic, also check my responded messages, because people write comments, also check discussions my frieds started. also am always curious, who marked my best responds:) and sure respond to comments.

I love to get messages , Cannot leave them , if I see a message I have o find out what it says right away , I think it is so lovely to have so many online friends and I am interested in anything they have to say , xx

That is a good idea. I have been doing that too or give my friends my email address. I go to my email to get messages from Mylot. I have a seperate folder just for Mylot. yes I use my messages.

Yes, first of all I check my messages and then see if there is any request for friends.

I do check everyday. I think in these 2 weeks since I became a member, I have already established habits. I check messages, I take care of friend requests and then I start looking at the discussions. First, I try to comment on responses to discussions I have started, then I check on discussions my friends started, next is discussions I have responded to and then I move to new discussions, hot topics and discussions with no replies. After that, if I have a discussion I want to start, I work on that. I try to stick with this format because it helps me remember where I have already been that day. I check several times a day to see if I need to respond to anyone too.

I get email on when I have responses so I check a couple times a day. I love the discussions.

My message box is always swarmed with messages from my friends, if possible, I will check them as soon as possible,but unfortuately , I may have to reply to some of them later due to the large numbers of messages. I will use the message box to some of my friends, either i have something to ask them or just for chatting..
