Nokia 6680 phone software upgrade?

I've stumble upon a phone software upgrade of my nokia 6680. I have this phone for over a year now and have no problems with the current phone software it is running... The question is, should I upgrade it or not? Im afraid I might ruin the phone's programming permanently. I believe in this saying... "if its not broken, dont fix it."
Anyone out there has tried upgrading their phone software?

Go ahead... Actually I use 6270 and someone said the firmware upgrade decreases the sound effect...But no idea about 6680 maybe you can try it once nothin will happen
