My favourite drink is coffee. Everyday I takes a least a cup of coffee in the morning. The only problem that I facing is my stomach will get ache. I do know why this has happened to me since it doesn't effect to my office mate. Anybody who face the same problem and have ways to overcome it, could posted and discuss and share with me.

Are you drinking your coffee on an empty stomach? I used to have this problem, but only if I did not eat anything with it. So I started eating a banana or something either while my coffee is brewing, or as I am drinking it. If you are not eating, you could try having just a piece of fruit or toast with it, that may help.

I think if you recently had a gastric flare up then you will need to avoid coffee for a while. As caffeine is a known catalyst for gastric flare ups. Get a decaf if you really must have and add milk. If it is not gastric, then you would be having low lactose tolerance. Which means you will need to go easy on the milk. The alternative here will be black coffee with creamer. Hope this will help.

Coffee can cause some amount of gastritis or acidity. It is also known to worsen acid reflux. This may be the reason.

I used to have that problem too but I discovered it was the milk I was using, though I still have to eat something before drinking coffee. I also tried to drink 3-in-1 instant coffee mix and it's ok for me.
