well just wanted to know how everyone had reacted to the sudden increase in the price of gas.
Did you change anything at all, start taking public transportation more often, dust off your 10-year old bicycle, whatever...??? Smile Smile Smile
I didn't really alter my lifestyle because of a few extra dollars lost for a full tank. Anyway Ive alwayss been using my bike in summer and the bus in winter(to go to school), so that's it...

We don't just jump into the car and drive as often as we used to. And now we plan our car trips when we didnt' used to. When we have errands to run, we combine all of them so we don't have to make more than one trip in the car but just do them all while we are out. So, the price of gas really has changed our driving habits a lot.

I used to go drining around for a couple of hours if I couldn't sleep, I don't do that anymore as it could get pricy. Also I never just drive up to the store for smokes, I get them on my way home. I actually turn my overdrive on and off now so I don't waste gas.

Used to be that when we didnt have money to go do something with the kids we would take a drive in the mountains or something like that but now that is just as expensive as going to the science center or childrens musium. I think it sucks ! I cant go to the gym as much as I like cuase we lkive out of town and it would cost me about $40 a week in gas to do it. Its rediculas that they just keep getting richer (the oil tycoons) while we scrounge for the gas to get to work.
