Hammond/Hessville Area

Hi, I was born in Hammond, In. and grew up in Hammond/Hessvile and was wondering if anybody else here may have lived, or does live there? It's been about 20 years since I moved from Indiana, but I am planning on moving back to that area within a year or two. Hessvile was a fantastic place to grow up and I have tons of wonderful memories. I went home for the first time in 12 years, last March, and it was great! The city had REALLY grown, but I could still find my way around, even after all of that time. I was thrilled to be able to go to White Castle and eat, they don't have them here in the south and boy have I ever missed those sliders! Anyone else have great memories of growing up in Indiana?
