Remember a world without cell phones?

One in which people actually had manners? Said things like 'excuse me' when they wanted to pass you? What happened to that world? Gimme examples of how human behaviour has gotten worse since we all joined the borg collective.

As someone mentioned a lot of accidents and near misses are caused by cell phone use. When I am in the store and somebody is talking way too loud on the cell phone it is kind of distracting too.

I seem to always have the joy of being in the same aisle as the love-bird teens professing their devotion or the angry rednecks which is at least kind of entertaining. I actually almost got in a wreck two weeks ago when someone talking on their phone cut me off in a blizzard.
