I think there have been many mistakes committed (intentionally and may be even unintentionally) in the translation of The Bible
For instance :-Some where in The Bible (i don't remember exactly where ) somebody tells Jesus "your brothers and your mother is waiting for you" People misunderstand this and Say that the Virgin Mary was not a Virgin and say Jesus was not the only son...This is where the Translation problem comes in. In many parts of the world one's cousin is also referred to as "brother" and hence the usage of the same in the Bible...
so what are your comments. Is what i say not right ????

It is true that Mary had other sons. The Lord Jesus is the firstborn son. The Lord had brothers and sisters. The is clearly stated in the Holy Bible, in the New Testament. There are many verses stating that fact. It is not the translation which is wrong. It is the Roman Catholic Church which made the doctrine that Mary never had known her wife Joseph. Joseph and Mary are husband and wife and they were not prohibited to copulate after the birth of the Lord Jesus and therefore they begot children and the names of the brothers of the Lord are there in the New Testament; only the sisters are not named. It is the Roman Catholic Church which keep on lying to the members thereof. They follow the Catechism, not the Holy Bible. Do you notice that the Roman Catholic Church do not conduct Bible studies? And many Catholics do not know how to find Bible verses? Good if you yourself know; pls ask others.

Not only did Jesus have siblings but it was his brother James the Just not Peter that lead the Church after his ascension.
