Yes the range of my friendship is from 5years old to 50 years old, I am 42. From older friends you learn from their experiences and from younger friend you can know what is new in every field of life, they are better updated.

It seems like just about everyone I know is older than me. My husband is 6 years older than me. My friends are 8 to 9 years older than me. Have a couple of friends that could very well be my grandparents. It would be strange if ever I did make a friend (that wasn't online) that was the same age as me. I guess I just like the older generation of folks.

When i was young like 25 yrs old i have friends much older than me as if like my father and i enjoy mingling with them. I was the youngest and the smallest of the group then. This also had advantages like i always get the biggest share in terms of food to share with , they treat me like their youngest brother. On the other side there are some disadvantages like they made me the runner most of the time. Now, Im 52 and I have friends mush younger than me. I usually played with children 5 to 10 years old. It's fun to be with them as if I feel like thier age.

i have friends that are more than 10 years older and 10 years younger. i think that as you get older it really does not matter all that much what age people are. i do not believe there necessarily are much differences between someone 20 and 40 years old. friends come in all shapes, sizes, and ages.

Yes, I do have friends that are older than me. In fact most of them are. Just as you do, I have some friends that could be mistaken as my parents. I like them because they seem more mature and I feel that I can learn much more from them, seeming that they have got through that parts of their lives that I will soonn to follow. They could give me advice, and it's never wrong to have older friends, because who knows what they can do for you... such as giving you a job :)
