What is the different between DVD + R and DVD - R

If you see -R it means that you can only burn it once and if you see +R you can record it more than once. I hope you understand. Have a nice day. Pablo

Callarse1 is completely wrong. + and - are simply two different formats of DVDs. When DVD burners were first released they were designed to only burn +R or -R DVDs. -R DVDs were generally considered to be more compatible. Current DVD burners can burn either one with equal success. Both types of DVDs can only be burned to once. DVD RW is capable of being burned to multiple times.
