I have always had short heard, what causes this, well my dad never had hair, I think it coukd be heridarty. My mother had long beautiful hair. all of my sister has long hair.
so I most likely took after my father. I need something to make my hair grow? I was in the drug store yesterday, they had these bottles of pills for your hair, it sais to make hair and nails grow. I looked at it and read it. those pills were 15.00 I thought that was expensive. I ask the pharmist were the pills any good , he said no don't spend your money on that, at he was truthful. He told me to get something with biotene and Vitamen E. He said that's it's better to get them in the health food store. what is good to make your hair grow I need other advise. like foods to eat or vitamens to take. what's the best thing. I can always get good answers from Mylotters. so help me Please! you will be rated + thank you in advance!

I've started taking Flaxseed Oil, I hear that it's wonderful for skin hair and nails. Also, you should start going to the hairdresser regularly and have them clip your ends on a regular basis. I find that it's important to have your hairdresser give you protein packs (deep conditioners) very often. Another thing that may be stunting your hair growth is greasing your scalp or putting a lot of oils in it (especially oil sheen because that dries it out). All of that oil tends to clog the hair pores.

I used to be the same way when it came to going to the hair dressers, but I lucked up and found one that gets me in and out & I LOVE HIM!!!! But try and get a good conditioner that you can deep condition at least every other week (it's best if you find someone that can do it for you). I also noticed that ever since I got this rinse in my hair it's been growing like weeds. Don't forget to trim your hair.

Most people do not get all the proper nutrients they need that contributes to hair growth from the food they eat, so the best thing to do is incorporate a vitamin, preferably one specifically deisgned for hair. You can try perfectil, GNC Ultra.
you can also visit hair care forums for advice on how to grow and take care of your hair. I just decided in February 2007 to grow my hair out after wearing it short since like forever and visiting these forums have really helped me.
You can try going to

Unfortunately, it's probably hereditary unless you have other health problems like high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid problem, etc.
Everybody's hair is on a genetically encoded timing system. It's encoded to grow a certain amount of time then fall out. The same type of timing system that keeps eyelashes, eyebrows and body hair from growing a foot long. This encoding could be inherited from your great, great, great grandmother or even farther back. It doesn't always come from immediate family. And no pill, powder or prayer will change it until science comes up with a way to alter your DNA.
Just as an example, everyone in my immediate family, mother, father, and grandparents on both sides had beautiful thick hair. I unfortunately inherited my great grandmother's hair (my mother's father's mother), baby fine, thin and very straight.
I've tried several times to grow my hair long.. it just doesn't work. I've learned over the years to accept and enjoy my short hair.

Part of this is hereditary for sure. Second, don't take the pills and listen to the pharmisist, as he would know best. Foods and vitamins don't work either. My hair is very long, but it is fine. And, it will only grow to a certain length and stop. Some things that do work, can cause serious problems. Why don't you buy attatchements for your hair. They look great.

Don't say that I have so many wigs all colors even a blond one, Red brunette black, brown believe me every color. I want to wear my own hair. this guy that posted here apple vinegar, that a good one and inexpensive. Protein powder. I guess I would half to go to a health food store for that. I am going to experiment.
I will see what others say. thank you for your input +
