Something is bothering me big time!

I am seeing high school students mostly guys warring this jacket and I dont get the style, where do they buy these jackets from, they are usually light weight, and they have different color symbols all over them, the symbols almost cover the hole jacket and most guys that ware them ware baggy clothes, it seems to be the new style, can someone fill me in, what are these jackets?????
