Mis pronunciating your name?????

In childhood many friends & classmates are call me by my surname that time I don't like this. But now I don't feel bad as it is my name. My name is Deepankar sarkar, I know it is difficult to pronounce my name also many classmates call me sarkar . So, I never mind.

in my teenage years i couldn't tolerate it at all if some one pronounced my name wrong and always corrected them about it. but now i don't care about it much as i have learnt it isn't of much importance.now it's funny to hear if someone pronounces it wrong and i do still correct them but not in that furious manner in which i used to;) and i don't like people to call me by surname so i don't add it in my name!:)

i have got used to it most of hte time i don't care about it as it doesn't affect me diresctly but i do get irritated if people starts changing my gender too

HAHAHAHA...i've been living with that all my life. my name looks different and isn't what most people think the named is spelled. my last name isn't any different. some people really do feel bad if the pronounce my names wrong. but since its always been happening, i just correct them and let it go.

I don't mind if people cannot pronounce my name correctly and I don't mind if they call me by my surname as long as the put 'Mrs' before it. I don't like to be called 'Madam'. I would prefer to be called Mrs or Ms.

I used to be anal about correcting people if they got my name wrong but as I've gotten older I just don't care anymore. I know they're talking to me and I'll answer to it. LOL.
