Star rating is your reputation here on myLot and you can see it when you reach 100, the highest is 10 and it varies sometimes it decreases sometimes it increases depends on how members will rate your post to thier discussion and how you they rate discussion you started. The highest your star means high earnings too and to keep that high rating you should be giving rate too all discussion you post and you select best responses to discussion you started. The more chances of getting high rating is by being active in myLot and post to more than 50 discussion and post a 2-3 sentence response to every discussion you made and that is where the earnings boost. Yes. It is when you reach 100 posts and for that, people can start rating you already. It really just depend on the number of people who will rate you with either positive or negative. The more posts you have, the higher your chances of earnings a star when you reach 100 posts. Best of luck!
