How do you get a star

I am fairly new to mylot and wanted to put this stupid question out there. How do you get a star? i mean everyone on here has a star and I'm feeling a little left out. Do you have to have a certain amount of posts or something? Somone explain to this newbie what the star is all about.

Don't feel too left out. Everybody has to start at the beginning. You will get a star as soon as you reach 100 points. The colour of the star will depend on how other myLot members rate you. I will give you a plus to help you on your way and I hope it won't be too long before you see a nice star twinkling after your name.

I wish I knew! I hope someone can answere this for us because I really don't understand these numbers and stars either...Some people have numbers up in the thousands...Do you have to start or answere to a certain number of discussions or is it a certain amount of time? I hope someone can answere these questions for us JB1979... Thank you for asking this question because I know I have been wondering myself but never thought to post it this way! :)

It's all about the number of posts from what they are telling me. You and I are only in the 30's so we won't get a star until we get to the 100 mark. So just keep posting and we'll get there. JB

The thing is finding time to do this...It is very time consuming when you put alot of thought into it which I understand is equally important! How much time does the average person spend on here I wonder?

I just do it in between searching for other stuff. There is a lot of good advise and you can find some very good contacts as well on here. I have found many good money making opportunities as well as advise on subjects i need to get answered. I wouldn't spend all day or anything on here but in between other tasks it's good.

you will recieve a star once u reach 100 posts. the stars are numbered 1-10. 1 is not good and 10 is the best. the number that will appear in your star when you get it is how well you have been doing on mylot. good luck

From what I understand you have to have 100 you have 33 as klnow that i am [posting this.
