is American Dad in the same league as Family Guy?

There have been a couple of occasions where American Dad has really made me laugh out loud, but it just doesn't compare to Family Guy. Even when it has its truly hilarious moments, the characters in American Dad just aren't nearly as likeable as those in Family Guy.

Not really, like on what intelligent do they have on America Dad and Family Guy. Peter and America Dad is similar thing about dumb thing but their situation are different.

I love both shows, but American Dad is a different kind of humor. Its they both poke fun at just about everybody, but Family Guy is just so in your face. But I truly love both

family guy is way better then american dad imo.

I think American Dad tried to be so much like Family Guy that there is no point in even watching it because it is nowhere near as funny. Just my two cents.

No!!! no one is in the same league as family guy. American dad is funny but there is nothing like family guy/ I remember i stunbled upon an episode right when the show started and loved it I now watch every eppisode i can.

Nope! American Dad is funny but it's a different and very specific kind of comedy. American Dad mostly makes humor by poking fun at the CIA, and American beliefs. Family guy, on the other hand, is hilarious because it pokes fun at everyone and everything and you never know what to expect! Both shows are great, but I'd choose Family Guy over American Dad any day.

Never seen American Dad but I doubt it's as good as Family Guy.
