Well its a way off yet but once im out of college im planning on teaching in japan and i was wondering if anyone has been out there and taught japanese children or adults and if they could share their experiences. Another thing im looking to learn about teaching in Japan is what companies people have worked under because i dont know what company is a respectable company. Thanks for your replies ((If any hehe))

I lived in japan for two years and if thats what your planning on doing I would fully recommend it. I had several friends over there that were english teachers and they loved it. Japan is agreat place and for the most part they love Americans and will be very friendly to you. It's expensive to travel over there but I would recommend you spen as much time as you can doing as much traveling as you can. It's a great place with great food and lots of fun. the Japanesse really know how to party too. I suggest making friends with a couple Japanesse people and then let them show you the ropes. You'll have a blast trust me.

No it won't make a fifferance in that the japanesse people will be very open and very friendly to you, they are just a kind polite people. Obviously it will depend on what part of Japan you go to but the 2 years I was stationed there with the US military I was fortunate to see a good portion of the country and they are good people where ever I went. I only made the comment about the japaesse loving americans becuase, you'll see a lot of adaptations from American culture over there.

Ahh right cool. I hope im accepted there and that im not harshly abused lol thats my biggest fear about going out there because i dont want to be stuck in a country where i have very little knowledge of the language and you get abused by locals because your a forigner ((much like england, we are full of racist scum))
