Honey, will you rub my back?

Oh this one aggravates me. He loves to get a massage but when it is my turn he rubs my back maybe for 2 minutes and makes an excuse that he doesn't do it as good as me and quits. LOL Men!

Mr. loves getting backrubs. Unfortunately he's incredibly selfish when it comes to giving them, and I'm the one with the painful back problems! :( He whinges like anything at the mere suggestion and makes excuses. He'd never turn down getting one though!

Hubby always enjoys it when I give him a relaxing back rub. He truly appreciates what my fingers can do to relax his sore muscles after a hard day of work. Over many years of practice, my hands have gotten quite a bit stronger and he really enjoys a deep tissue massage. He's not always so willing to return the favor though. His rarely last longer than 5 minutes & rarely work out any of my knots which will make me ask for one. My sister went to school to be a massage therapist and while she practiced on me a few times before her exams, she was trained to do it differently than I do and it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. She said they teach you to give a massage and that when they get a client at the school, they aren't supposed to make any sounds of pleasure, probably due to "another" profession. Personally, the only way I know when I've found a sore spot is when I can get a groan out of hubby. Once I hear that, I know where the knots are and can begin working it out. :)

As much as I love a good back massage my husband is hopeless at them. But the good news is he scratches my back which is also nice. He also enjoys a good massage in return. So in answer I think both men and women enjoy them equally. Now the hardest part is trying to find time to get one when you're flaked out after a long hard day at work and come home to run the household!

You obviously haven't met my boyfriend. It's the same routine every night, he'll ask me to rub his back and I'll do so for 15 mintues and then it's his back itches from the massage, then it's another 10 mintues of taking care of his wandering itchies.
