how can i stop i friend from drinkin

i have a friend that is an alcooholic. I my and our friends do what to do anymore. Can somebody give us an advice of what is the best way to deal with this problem. Somebody who had thid problem or somebody around someone who had this problem. We will apreciated very much your advices

That is one of the toughest interventions to do because that person will think that they don't have a problem and get mad at you. Just sit them down and tell them what you think. Tell them that you think they are drinking to much and need to quit or get help. Find articles showing what drinking does to them in the future and how it harms them etc... and show those to him. And hopefully he doesn't drink and drive so he won't ever kill someone
