I'm sure there are people on here who've gotten married before, so I want to hear from you. It's nice to buy gifts to thank your bridal party for their involvement in your wedding. I have some ideas of what I want to buy for them, but I could use some other ideas. Let's hear them :) What did you buy the following people and why?
What did you/could you buy your:
Mom?
Dad?
Maid of Honor?
Best Man?
Bridesmaids?
Groomsmen?
Readers?
Where do you shop at for these kinds of gifts? Links to stores are much appreciated :)
I'm just looking for unique, personal ideas that you have, or things you gave your bridal party for your wedding gifts. Thanks for your help!!

I am a fan of small gift baskets for family members. You can figure out what each person enjoys doing...like hobbies and such, and make the basket to suit them. You can keep them simple or get incredibly elaborate.
For bridesmaids I suggest a pin or bracelet, that is what we did for my sister's bridesmaids. I have helped others by makking ankelts using a simple chain with a pendent...delicate of course, to be worn during the wedding on the right ankle. Cuff links, to be worn during the ceremony, work well for the groomsmen.
I don't have any links to give because none of our shopping was done online, but I hope these suggestions give you more ideas.

Thanks for the ideas. I am trying to make personalized gift bags for all the girls and boys in the wedding. Jewelry was on my "to-do" list but I hadn't thought of anything. Anklets sound like a cute idea, I'll look into that. Cuff links might also work for the guys since I don't think most of them have any :) Thanks for the ideas!

Can't remember what they did for the groomsmen, but at my sister's wedding all the bridesmaids got a really nice necklace.

Yeah jewelry seems to be the thing to do, but with my bridesmaids I'm not sure what to get them. One is often allergic to jewelry so I don't want to do that to her, and my other bridesmaid wears it only once in awhile. I love jewelry, just don't know what I could buy them in that category that would work for them.

On our wedding day, we're thinking of giving our parents our wedding picture in mosaic & in a small frame which they can place in their rooms. For my femail entourage, I will just make some beads for them. No particular item yet for the male entourage, but I want it to be a DIY. :)
