I don't use Vista but I know some of it feature. It's good, so different with XP. But sadly (as usual) every microsoft product always have bugs, security holes and even compatibility issues.
So I suggest f you really would change your OS to Vista, do it in the next 2 years.

Windows Vista VS Windows XP... which is better?
For the public.... Windows XP is still the best and I'd still recommend others to use it. It has everything you need without the cut-throat price. Windows Vista is like owning a Ferrari. Sure, it's nice to look at, it has great performance? But it's pricing makes it only exclusive to the ones who really have money to burn or the ones who don't have that much money to burn but since they're Microsoft fanatics or just want to brag out they're using "genuine" Microsoft products.
Most of the general public knows how to use Windows XP and has gotten quite used to it. Maybe if the price of the Vista was cut down dramatically then that would entice consumers to purchase originals. Hey, you gotta loose some money to make money, right!?
